My pet peeves?
Someone tickled my annoyance last night.

I was running a shock axe build (Been using in ra since factions came out~before I knew about pvx) and an assasin using melandrus resillience without any self condition skills kept nonstop calling me a noob.

Mainly because I was using pressure on another squishy while the other 2 people attacked the monk.
(Right thing to do, right?)

People who use their energy to whine about people / are abusive to people who ask questions (especially during holiday events) about things. Either answer the question or shut up! Not everyone was around last Halloween or Wintersday.

Mesmer (any class, really) hate in PvE. (actually I get a chuckle out of it now. A couple weeks ago a friend saw a conversation going on about how Mesmers couldn't get GMC title! I put on my GMC title, went to the town, and had a really good time setting everyone straight! Can't wait to finish the Vanquisher titles! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

lol @ Malice
1. Mods that hate the GW Community j/k!

Actually I think what I cant stand is the guy that does this.

Seller: WTS "item" 25k!
Me: Ill take it
Seller: Just got an offer for 30k, wanna counter it?

Honestly - if your gonna sell it for x amount of gold and someone says they will take it, be honorable and sell for the price you advertised.

Standard low end trader practice. Just say no thanks, they'll PM you back within a few minutes and say the other guy pulled out.

It is Leet/Net speak. If you find the word "srsly" in ANY BOOK in the past 30 years, show me it. Show me it and I will pin it to my bedroom wall and dance in front of it every night in sheer admiration. And find me one person who actually uses that spelling who has never even been on the internet.

Oh, and can you do me a massive favour? Write it in your next English essay and pass it off as a commonly used abbreviation. I mean, it's not leet speak. You'll get away with it.

Trade spamming in local chat
I lost count how many times I reported people for doing that so much and I will continue to do so. Every now and then, you see someone doing that, you mention it belongs in the trade channel, then the spammer gets mad at you for saying it.

Special event question spam
"How do I get a mask?", "Where are the festival quests?", etc. Even if people in the town answers them, the questions are still getting asked repeatedly. Why didn't you see our answer the first time?

Beggars
Usually from those asking for as little as 30 gold. It won't hurt them to make their own money fighting monsters and selling drops. Sometimes, when a beggar is given the amount he asked for, he keeps begging for the same amount.

Guild recruitment spam
There's absolutely no reason to say your recruiting message every 5-10 seconds. We saw it the first time!

Spamming <whatever> at least 2-3 times quickly
This is perhaps one of my biggest peeves. Why do people do this?? You only have to say it ONE TIME.

People who can't take a simple hint
You got a guy asking if anyone has a certain item or whatever. Constantly, with no responses. After a few minutes or so, if no one has replied by then, that means "we don't have it". Occasionally when this happens, I make the simple gesture of saying something like 'since no one is answering you, it means we don't have one'... then they get ticked off at you because of it.

PvP'ers in PvE, insulting those in it
There was a PvP player recently in euro LA, spamming "PvE are scrubs" or something like that. If you don't like PvE, then stay out of it.

People that refuse to spell out words completely
You know the ones... those who abbreviate almost every other word, just because it's faster to type. No, it's not faster... it's laziness. Plain and simple. It's "anyone", not "any1". "please", not "plz". Just to name a couple examples.

Let's see:

- People selling/trading Rune Scape gold/accounts. (Go Play RS and leave us alone!! )

- Panhandlers, specially on Droknar's Forge

- Doing something (anything) in HM and getting #$@#% purples in EVERY chest I open.

- Killing a group of 7 - 8 monsters in hard mode and only getting a crappy white item O_o

- People that when I BiP them are spamming their Energy bar (again) 2 seconds after. BiP lasts 10 seconds FFS!!!

- A person spamming WTS X Item, you PM him for a price and he answers back "OFFER".

Or worse; when YOU spam "PM me your offers" and having someone who says "how much for item?" -_-.

I've got some more though...

- Necros being MM/SS, nothing else; rest is a noob build.

- Mesmer, paragon and assassin hate.

- PvE vs. PvP debates (IT'S NOT THE SAME GODDAMN MECHANICS! I've got a good one for this... I was in FoW with 2 monks, none wanting to go prot 'cause "PvE was easy and FoW was easy". Midway, they were almost yelling that each other should have gone prot).

And the most annoying one is...

... People who don't listen to directions, eff up and then blame you. And leechers fall in the same category.

People who dont respond to PMs. ALWAYS when I am buying/selling things I will send someone an offer and wait.. and wait.. and wait for a reply. If its a bad offer, could you please just type nty? (or "no thank you" for those of you who hate abbreviations ) It drives me up the wall that people think that they are so far above me that they dont need to respond to my message.

Usually it's because the person just got to town and didn't SEE the question/answer. But I do concede that there are those that are impateint and ask over and over without giving anyone a chance to answer.

SPAM SUCKS!

It kind of bugs me when people don't say anything after you helped them through a mission. No thanks, gg or anything, and just leave. I usually PM them and say "you're welcome!" when they do that.

People that try to be all big and tough by trying to offend someone by calling them XXX "insert faction here"

I use blood ritual on my nuker heros, works well, but they never us it on me, and they use it on the monks that are only missing 1 energy

Players that think that Owning a town in Cantha is way more "leet" then being ranked 1 in HB or GvG

Flamers that get me into trouble with the moderators of this site.
Anyone who thinks that Dishonorable Hex is good.
Emo's who /report others out of spite & malice.
RAing with bafoons.
Grouping with people that don't even have an elite skill so far into the game.
Rangers with more than one preparation and no stances, or with healing breeze.

Not trying to apply for your first. But I don't actually understand why people dislike it. I like it! Since before it nearly every RA team I was in was just full of leavers. Now that they can't grief the rest of their team I'm happy.

But, I actually have one to add since today. People who tell you that you need to "l2p" when you say you're having some trouble in a specific area... I can't help it since Asura areas in EotN really give me a rough time D:

Oh and let's not forget the people that ask for help, and don't mention what they need help on. Then when you ask what they need help with they don't respond.
